Monsters (2010)
Brooding, atmospheric science fiction! While beautifully shot, this movie was a little heavy handed with its political agenda. Furthermore, the writing was not as fluid and believable as it could be. But the cinematography was gorgeous, especially for a film with a budget of $15,000.
That’s exactly what I felt from the trailer: I knew I would love the cinematography and camera work, but the story already seemed poorly constructed. I still want to see it though.
