In a year for photobooks that span the entire world, Mårten Lange’s “Another Language” was a standout. It’s full of beautiful black-and-white photographs that look at the natural world from an almost scientific perspective.

thank you. that’s why i hate end of year lists because gems like this aren’t getting any attention or just fall into the cracks. it is always about which big names/notable names released a publication in the past year. what is a best of year list anyway but a way of self-validation, those lists are reductive.
